ABOUT THE BAND

1 Najt Stand (pronounced <One Night Stand>) is a 6-piece party band based in the Tri-Cities of Gdańsk/Sopot/Gdynia. Their repertoire is a mix of party-hits from the 50's 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. It's a perfect fit for large company events, ambitious private events, and similar medium and medium-large events as well as in many live venues. This band plays party favorites that are performed in a loose and funky style. The songs are from artists like: Prince, James Brown, Elvis, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, the Clash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Lenny Kravitz, White Stripes, Ray Charles, War, and some polish songs from bands like Blenders and Kazik/Kult.

Part of the Tri-Cities Rock and Blues scene for many years. Resident of Teatr Boto Jam Sessions in Sopot, Poland. A searcher of energetic grooves and clean, deep tones. Convinced that all roads lead to Jazz.

Guitar & Vocal: Piotr "Sweet Pete" Słodkowski

A graduate of music school where his specializaton was the double-bass and the guitar. Pete feels good in various music genres, especially Rock'n'Roll. He seduces the audience with the sultry riffs from the depths of his guitar. He is passionate about warm vodka and cold women.

Dizzy is a musical astronaut exploring guitar shamanism. He’s a graduate of what he likes to call “The Toruń School of Jam Sessions and Astronomy”. He was raised from an early age in the spirit of Hippie Ideals and music from the second half of the 20th century. Like “Free Bird”, Lord knows he can't change.

A graduate of the music academy with the specialization of saxophone.
Alex feels quite at home in a range of various music genres ... especially when involving improvization and funky styles. He spends his time mixing and mastering music as well as playing sax and bass... Yet he loves quiet.

An experienced musical veteran who has lived (and performed professionally) on three continents and in many countries. He received many awards in Poland, including: one Fryderyk and three Fryderyk nominations (The Fryderyk is the polish equivalent of the Grammy), as well as 3 gold records and 1 platinum record. He has performed around Poland and trhe rest of Europe hundreds of times, on concert, festival, and club stages.
